Facebook.com Passes Google.com As The Most Viewed Website In The U.S

Statistics have shown that Facebook has passed Google (GOOG) as the most viewed website in the US. Facebook was named as the largest website in the U.S. with 7.07% of all U.S. visits. Google is second at 7.03%. Yahoo Mail is third with 3.8% and Yahoo (YHOO) is fourth at 3.67% is fifth with 2.14%.

Google may be worried as more people are bypassing them and connecting straight to the social networks such as Facebook and Twitter directly. Facebook currently has around 400 million users accessing its social network. Facebook has also grown to become one of the largest digital photo sharing site on the Web - the social network sees 3 billion photos uploaded to its site each month.
