Since 1999 Global Gold Network specialises in the provision of hosting solutions to SME and corporate businesses including Email-Only hosting, Shared Hosting, VPS hosting, Xen Hosting, Managed Hosting solutions, Dedicated and Managed Servers.
We have built a solid and remarkable reputation for delivering robust hosting on high–end HP servers to businesses of all sizes including Chrysalis Radio, Global Radio, Playfish.com, Your-Move and the like.
We are often described as the hosting company that takes the time to talk to our customers and backs up all of its services with first-class technical support which is why we have a very large proportion of clients that have been with us since we began.
What unique selling points do you offer?
We don’t sell our services on the basis of price. For us it is always about delivering value and service to each customer. Everyone in this industry claims to be delivering service but very few actually achieve it in a real sense, which is why they have high churn rates. They have not worked out how to build real or profitable relationships with their customers, which is the key to building a solid and robust business.
Describe the services you offer?
We define web hosting the way everyone else does BUT ultimately it is about enabling our customers to deliver the services that they need to provide to their customers, end users and / or visitors in the way that they want to with 100% confidence.
Describe your target market?
The majority of our customer base are SMEs, however we work with and have been approached by corporate clients and SOHO businesses. If you look at our customer base we have everything from the small one to two man band trying to establish a business, web designers, marketing agencies, plumbers, etc to companies like Your Move, Chrysalis, Revlon Inc, and so on.
How is your company planning for the future?
We’re here for the long haul, so we’ll be here servicing the UK market predominantly, bigger than we are but staying as lean and fit as we can in order to keep our costs as low as possible and still focusing on ways to keep our customers extremely happy with us and our product and service offer. We’ll probably be leaders in one or two segments of the market too.
What benefits can you offer your customers?
There are very few companies where you can pick up the phone and speak to any number of high-calibre technical people, who not only understand what you are trying to achieve but also just to have a chat and maybe talk through some ideas you have. The knowledge and experience we have in-house is unquestionable, which is why our customers confidently refer new business to us.
How do you support your customers?
As our customers always say, we love GG because you can pick up the phone and talk to someone who’ll get things sorted for you. At Global Gold there is minimal distinction between sales and support, so the person that has sold something to you, may also be the person you speak to resolve any support issues you have. This means you end up not having to repeat yourself as you’re talking to someone that has a thorough understanding of what you are trying to achieve and can support you appropriately. We obviously have email support, phone support, out of hours support, technical advice, and so on as part of our service offer.
